A must read!

ย  When I was six years old, I gave my first blowjob. – http://wp.me/p4kiMB-Rp

Often we get too absorbed in our own world and our own problems to notice the world around us. Modernity has made us all live in our little hedonistic bubbles. I am not saying that our issues do not matter they do. But there also exist bigger devils which need to be dealt with.

Sexism and Patriarchy are realities that women have to deal with on a regular basis. Someone who is abused from such a young age, internalises the abuse, tends to think they deserve to be treated this way, and eventually give up fighting. Their silences are not voluntary.

Women’s abuse is often disregarded as being too “exaggerated for effect”. No one would add such gory details. No woman asks for it, no woman deserves it and certainly no woman enjoys it.

Hats off to the brave soul who anonymously shared her experiences. May her wounds heal and she may gain strength.

Having gone through abuse myself, my heart goes out to her, and all the others out there, irrespective of gender or sexual orientation, (every one gets abused I recognise that, however women get abused the most thanks to our misogynistic system)
who are unable to exercise their sovereign right over their bodies and are shamed by heartless creatures.
No one “deserves” to be treated this way!

  1. I almost can’t believe the amount of terrible people out there who abuse such young children, or people who abuse anyone for that matter! They must be so lost to think of doing that.
It’s also not over after that moment for many of the victims as they suffer the psychological repercussions for years afterward. It all makes me feel quite sick and uneasy.
Do you know of any way people could get involved and help those who are suffering?

    1. I agree with you. Their confidence and psyche are often damaged beyond repair. And the total disregard of people towards such issues further hampens any chances of change.
I am not aware of what works in your country, we have a few NGO’s here that people volunteer at which help facilitate and counsel victims of abuse.

  2. You are right, I am glad she finally put the word out to the world. The lusty glances that follow us sickens our hearts , people who used to regard us as kids all of a sudden looks at us in different light. The reason for all the problems is that we dont dress properly, even if we are covered from head to.toe ,still its our fault not the fault of the “gentleman”. Let a man where a low waist jeans , that is never indecent exposure. It is a shame , we are so advanced yet conservative. Hope this post.helps out other women who goes through the same situation. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I agree. Our society objectifies and subjugates women simultaneously. And then expects them to rise up when they are abused. I hope more and more victims can gather the courage to let their experiences be known, because only then can we expect any change. ๐Ÿ™‚
